Fake Infringing Claims on Spotify Are Annoying Genuine Artists
A report from Billboard states that fake DMCA notices are taking over the music industry, with even popular platforms like Spotify having no proper rectification method to solve rising issues. The report noted several examples where genuine artists on Spotify are flagged for infringing music, by their rivals to tackle them illegally. And they were left with no proper channel to fight back, but to be alive at the mercy of the claimant.
